I might be over 40...but I'm not wearing THESE!!

Check out the e-mail I just got from Lands' End.

I know high waisted jeans are all the rage...but elastic waist high waisted crops with a t-shirt tucked in them??? Hello?!

These are the Spring equivalent of Mom jeans! (Or toddler pants for big girls!)

Give me another 30 years...and then maybe, just maybe, you'll catch me sporting these...at the retirement home!

It looks like they should have little snaps between the legs to make it easier to change my adult diaper!

(Go to the click here to catch the rear view in better detail...I tell you-these pants are HOT!)

LMAO.

Enough said. That is flipping hysterical. They ARE all the rage. But sometimes, you just can't follow the rage. LOL.

Fabulous - and at 24.50 one could buy a pair in every color.

OMG...I just vomited in my mouth a little bit.

Oh and btw, there's a NJ bloggers conference in Princeton soon. Like, really soon. April 7th or something. I just heard about it yesterday.

Yuck...they make ones behind look so LARGE. I saw a few pairs in Dis-A-ney. And untuck that shirt!

Let's see just how big we can make our asses look shall we?

That young model is smiling into the camera trying to look cute, but she's really thinking, "Oh, hell, no."

That's what I think every time I receive a LL Bean catalog. YUCK!

That is just plain EVIL.

LOL. For every action (ie low rise pants) and equal and opposite reaction (ie high rise jeans). :D

If I had a flat stomach like that model I'd tuck my shirt in too. Don't ever see that happening on this chick though.

I saw those in the catalog, and my first thought was, "I wonder if I could use those this summer when my baby belly starts growing?" Because I'm pretty sure those would make me look pregnant anyway.

Generally, if I feel the need for elastic, I wear yoga pants, thanks.

Yeah, they look nice and comfy ... if they were maternity pants. In fact, I think that's the last time I wore elasticized waists when nothing else would stay up ... and I am soooo not going back THERE evah again.
Too funny!

Oh thank goodness. I was reading this in my reader and didn't see the headline...and when I saw the picture and read the first few lines of your post I thought, "WHOA! Caffeine Court turns out to have such different taste than I thought!" Imagine my intense relief when I quit with the knee-jerk reaction and actually kept reading... -phew-

Also, if those pants can make a model look puffy, what would they do to the rest of us?!?!?!

You are so funny. I feel like a lot of Lands End pants are like that!

"Full elastic waist provides maximum comfort"...with minimal style!

I'm so shortwaisted those would be under my armpits. I like low rise jeans, they hit me in a more normal looking spot.

And who tucks? I haven't tucked since the late 1980's. Wish I could, but it saves money on accessories (ie belts)

elastic waist & high waist. That is a bad combo. You forgot the mention the shirt had horizontal stripes.

Elastic waist pants belong in the Bon Worth store. My mother is almost 70 and she turns her nose up at them. Just found you blog. Keep up the good work.

That is hideous. I'm sorry, but where women are concerned that catalogue is downright dowdy.
