A change of plans...

I was hoping to do a "Real Housewives of New York City" recap today, but unfortunately that won't be happening.

Apparently my adorable and precocious 8 year old decided there was an episode of "SpongeBob" that was more important than my stupid show. So she bumped me. This infraction seems to be happening "by mistake" more and more lately. Meanwhile, we have every single episode of "Zach and Cody," "Fairly Odd Parents" and "Wizards of Waverly Place" archived for all eternity.

Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

In the meantime...pickup from shcool is at 3:05 and...

Someone's got some splainin' to do!

No spoiler here, but you didn't miss much.

I need my housewives to be at least TRYING to be cute, and except for the chef...notsomuch.

I'm a HUGE fan of Fairly Odd Parents...HUGE FAN.

And as far as the Housewives go...it was just ok. I was disappointed, but of course will still tune in to watch every friggin' episode.

Hoo boy. I usually get pre-empted for some sort of sporting event, but that's because my daughter is still too young to use the TiVo!

I am so impressed that my grandaughter is so technical.
I really am not trying to remain Anonymous but it's the only way I can post since I forgot my password. In case you haven't figured it out I am Jill's Mommy

Yea...... who is paying the bills here? I think it's time to put a lock on the Tivo.

It's the one thing that is just mine..... for now.

And that one housewife with the horse face.... does she really belong on the show? I mean she is ugly and her "husband" is gay.

Oh my gosh!! My kids do the same damn thing! I mean really how does a six year old already know how to operate the Tivo? If she ever bumps Lost, she better run for her friggin' life!

my daughter KNOWS instinctively when any season finale of a reality show or big awards show is on and makes that night the one where she suddenly becomes impossibly needy! Thank god for the DVR!!

We have this chat with our children on a daily basis. Just had it again today when we found that the Today show recorded every day we were away for 4 hours each. What???? That's a lot of memory GONE! Hubby and I find the most random things recorded and then can't find our shows we set to record. It's a love/hate relationship with the TIVO! Probably more love than hate.
