I'm such a dufus. I was so excited to watch the Oscars tonight. (Or so I thought.) I had my husband prepped. "This is MY Superbowl. I need to watch everything, including the pre-award red carpet show. We're ordering in dinner." He agreed.
I went on-line to check out what time the show starts. Duh! It's on February 24th. NEXT WEEK! Damn.
My dream night has turned back into business as usual.
I guess I should start dinner and give the kids a bath. :(

Oh drats. Well...that was just rehearsal. You know, to get prepped for the real thing. And, in the spirit of rehearsal, I vote hubby takes you out to eat and gives the kids a bath. That's my vote, for what it's worth ;)

Oh crap - is that next week? That gives me like five days to find a way to see Atonement, There Will Be Blood, and Juno. I hate watching the Oscars when I've only seen two or three of the films up for awards... it's only really fun when I have real opinions about who should win for each category. Strangely, for the last four years I haven't managed to keep up with movies until they come out on DVD. Hmm... wonder why that is. :-)
I was so scared that I had missed it! I am going to set my Tivo now, just in case...
