In case you don't already know. My name is Jill. I live in New Jersey (the NYC suburbs area.) I'm going to take it one step further. My husband and I have been married almost ten years. We have two daughters ages 8 and 4.
We have 2 dogs, a chocolate lab, Abby and a dachshund named Sammy. We also have a cat named Mickey.
I'm the oldest of three girls. My sisters both live in Maryland. My parents retired to Florida two years ago.

I'd love to give you MY name but then I would have to kill you. :) Just kidding. I have a very unique name and I prefer to keep my blog away from my mother and significant other and I'm sure that they google me and try to "find" me in various ways....so that's why I don't have it tied to my blog in any way. I have a younger sister (9 years younger), I live in Saint Louis, been with my husband for 10 years, we have 2 rescue dogs, a siberian husky and golden retriever and two children Jacob, 5 and Olivia, 3.
I'm a working scientist and overall am happy where I am professionally and personally.
I thank God that I LOVE my in-laws, and that I married into a "normal" family since mine is not.
My mother and I are not on speaking terms and my father committed suicide a month after I graduated from college. I'm trying to decide whether to blog about these issues. Good times. :)

I'm Kim (just like every third girl born between 1960-1965), I've lived in Georgia for 24 years, but I grew up in Nebraska. Married to my college sweetheart for almost 22 years, and we have 4 kids with names beginning with J (how original, huh...really not a plan, it just got away from us). Two girls, then two boys. If we'd had the two boys first, we'd have two boys. The girls are currently Ramblin' Wrecks from Georgia Tech, but will never be helluva engineers since they are math deficient like their mother. The boys...well, we hope they'll graduate from high school someday. That's definitely up in the air at this point. Dad on the Run has his own insurance brokerage, where I work very part time as an office slave.
