As I was tucking my 8 year old daughter into bed tonight , I was thinking about how she will be singing in front of 500 people in less than 12 hours. She, on the other hand, had much bigger issues on her mind.
Meg: Mom? Did you know that Britney Spears' sister is pregnant?
Me: Yes, I heard.
Meg: Isn't she a teenager? And she's not married! That's unusual.
Me: Yes it is. (Such wisdom from Mom!!)
Meg: What's happening to that family? First Britney gets divorced, then she shaved her head, now her little sister is pregnant!
Note to self: I think I need to hide my National Enquirers a little better!

Like to know how Nick is going to write the pregnancy in to their story line. That family is ridiculous!
It is amazing what kids pick up even when we try to shelter them a little. I second the nomination for Spears Mom of the Year. Lesson learned=Don't throw your kids into an adult world at such an early age or else they may turn out like this!
i agree with mom on the run...white trash. i'm so disgusted. these girls...brittney and her sister...some teen icons, huh? so disgusting that our daughters would ever emulate them!
my girls, btw, were talking about that, last night. they couldn't get over that jamie is only 16 and is pregnant...and not married! i'm glad that it disgusted them...phew!
Kids can be so insightful sometimes... just a good sign you taught her well. Way to go Mom.
