It's da bomb!

Did you ever notice that some posts are complete duds? You write something you think is somewhat clever or interesting, maybe add a few pictures or links. Then you hit the "publish" button and wait.

Days go by, sometimes weeks...NO COMMENTS.

It soon becomes crystal clear that the funny little post you thought was so darn good has gone over like a lead balloon.

I guess I'll just have to work harder. :)

Well aware of it. I always wonder why very mundane posts get so many comments and then the ones I find interesting on mine or others get no comments.

It's a quandry.

Me too!!! You are not alone - maybe we should form a support group???

I often say that I am my own best audience :-)

Yes, I so understand. I think I have been using Blogsite as a therapist, then hope to see responses. Does not all ways happen.

So true. And I am horribly guilty of checking every couple of hours when I've posted something I thought was interesting/funny. Total OCD.

i had my 20th reunion, this past august. it was a blast. it's funny, isn't it, how you can tell someones age by the music that they are into!

I feel that way all the time...but continue to post anyway. I think I am trying to upsell my life's mundaneness (a word?) by writing about it.

Keep on writing...I love your blog and posts!
