Who needs PBS??

Overheard in the Caffeine Court playroom.

Brad (My husband):

Girls, enough of the SpongeBob! Turn on something educational.

Catherine (My 5 year old): SpongeBob is educational!

Brad: It is? What does it teach you about?

Catherine: Sponges.

You can't argue with that.

LOL. I have a couple of sponge bob freaks in my house. One is 18, the other is 5. : ) I try to be out of earshot when they indulge.

I love Sponge Bob. I watch him before I go to bed because it is short and everything gets to a happy ending in 15 minutes. I can go to bed feeling good. :)

Hahahah! She is very clever. It's hard to know what to say to a smart answer like that, isn't it?

LOL it is amazing what 5 year old girls come up with, my daughter is only 8 months old but I am already bracing myself! My cousin's 5 year old daughter came back with "you worry about you and I'll worry about my toys" when told to put her toys away the other day!
Love your blog by the way :)
