Overheard in the Caffeine Court playroom.
Brad (My husband):
Girls, enough of the SpongeBob! Turn on something educational.
Catherine (My 5 year old): SpongeBob is educational!
Brad: It is? What does it teach you about?
Catherine: Sponges.
You can't argue with that.

LOL. I have a couple of sponge bob freaks in my house. One is 18, the other is 5. : ) I try to be out of earshot when they indulge.
Gotta love that quick wit, it will take her places!!! I like that in a child. LOL!
LOL!! That's funny! Of course, what else would you learn about on Spongebob?
Lol, that's too funny. Personally can't stand Sponge Bob though.
Your blog cracks me up!I am laughing because the other day my children told me Sponge Bob was educational! LOL!
Agreed! I think we could all use to learn a little more about sponges!
I love Sponge Bob. I watch him before I go to bed because it is short and everything gets to a happy ending in 15 minutes. I can go to bed feeling good. :)
Hahahah! She is very clever. It's hard to know what to say to a smart answer like that, isn't it?
Your children are little sponges ...they absorb everything
DUH!
You and I are on the same wavelength today. I have a spongebob reference today as well.
Weird...don't you think? hee hee.
It sounds logical to me!
All I want to know is what was my brother doing home at that hour?
She has your sense of humor...Bravo!!
awww...she's a fast thinker that one!
Ahhh sponges. I love Spongebob!
And that will prepare them well for their future as ... uhm...cleaning ladies? LOL!
LOL it is amazing what 5 year old girls come up with, my daughter is only 8 months old but I am already bracing myself! My cousin's 5 year old daughter came back with "you worry about you and I'll worry about my toys" when told to put her toys away the other day!
Love your blog by the way :)
I saw law in someones future!
i luv spongebob
