Get a room!

As you know, Brad and I went on a romantic getaway to the Catskills.  One night when we went out to dinner we were treated to some entertainment with our meal.  A couple about our age were seated at the bar watching the football game and practically having sex right on their bar stools.

I immediately thought to myself, "there's no way they're married, at least not to each other!"

Yeah I know, pessimistic of me, but most married people I know don't hang out at a bar on a Monday night swigging down wine and making out.  As much as my husband would love to do that, it just doesn't happen.

Anyway, I was really intrigued by the whole show.  She was biting his ear, rubbing her butt against his crotch, laughing really loud at everything he said and throwing her head back like she was in ecstasy whenever he amused her.

Suddenly I realized, my poor husband, I should give him some attention.

So I slid over in the booth and practically sat in his lap, I bit his ear and kissed his neck.  I was trying to be funny, but guess what?  He loved every minute of it!

Luckily we were far from home and no one knew us!  God forbid one of my daughter's teachers or a friend of my parents saw out little display, they would have been completely flipped out.

Thankfully our meals arrived quickly so I could scoot back over to my side of the booth and regain my dignity.  As much as I love my husband, I'm just not into having sex with him in the middle of a crowded restaurant.  (Sorry honey!)

As we left the restaurant I caught the man's eye as he stuck his tongue in his mistress's ear and gave him a little thumbs up.  (A real one, not the kind I got from the Reckless Worshipper.)

I don't know what is getting into me lately.  Pray for me.  One of these days I might mess with the wrong person, and then I'll be blogging with a black eye and broken fingers.  This is Jersey after all, and paybacks are a bitch.

lol, def sounds like cheaters! You're right, married folks aren't that passionate. That's new love behavior. Or forbidden love behavior. But I am sort of envious. I remember feeling that way when the Mr and I got together. Ahhh... the good old days. Nice picture, btw. It's nice to put a face to the name!

you ho! lol just kidding.

I went to the tennis courts today and saw one of the pros who is best friends with the woman i can't really stomach...she was asking me what happened and then she cut me off and said' no way your dr. is way off'...and then i cut her off and asked 'really karen? where is your MD from? because really why the hell are you always in tennis clothes rather than scrubs?'. I was/am in a mood. She shut up. I'm sure she hates me. whatever. I don't give a crap.

HA! The only time I experience this, is usually at the mall or the movies and the culprits are usually teenagers!

Tell me about it. I made a political comment on a blog defending some of the other commenters (one commenter was calling the others dumbasses) and whoa nelly I got so many nutbags coming to my site I had to (for the first time since I've been blogging) moderate the comments section.

I know that was a cyber risk and not a real life risk, but I won't make that mistake again.

I am with you. I LOVE my husband but there is no way I would feel comfortable making out in public. I am all about showing affection, but doing it with class.

If I lived in Jersey, I would buy the house next door and chat with you all DAY long.. You make me laugh! High on Hairspray are friends and we constantly RANT with RAGE over everything, it sounds just like you.. It must be my middle aged I don't care if you like me attitude anymore. Sometimes ya gotta call em like you see em!

Maybe they were role playing, or trying to bring some spark back to their marriage. Maybe they were newlyweds on their honeymoon.

I do have married friends who act like that - and it embarrassing to be with them! They have been married for just over 20 years and they cannot keep their hands off each other in public. But they also don't have kids and they both work in the airline industry, so they don't see each other every day. Maybe that makes the difference.

I don't know any married couples who act like that in public!!

How funny! I just could not do that in public. And I think DH would die of embarrassment, but...maybe not! lol

No way now how do me and my hub act that way in public. And being married has nothing to do with it because we didn't make out in public when we were dating either. I mean I'm all for porn but I'd rather watch in the comforts of my own home, ya know? The role you've been on, I'm surprised you didn't tell them to get a room on your way out the door! LOL!
