Did you see the footage of the Iraqi reporter throwing his shoes at President Bush? If you haven't Google it...it's hilarious. Bush is laughing while the guy wings his wing tips at his head.
It's classic holiday entertainment.

ha, just saw this on cnn.com. So freaking funny!! I mean, yeah, it'd suck getting a shoe thrown at you, but to an Arab it means like the worst thing ever. I remember when they raided Baghdad and they were all anti-Saddam and some Iraqi guy was like "he isn't worthy of his father's mustache!" and weird stuff like that, too. I am so glad I live in a normal place where we just call people assholes like civilized people. lol.

Couldn't believe it on this morning's news. They think it's an insult to throw their shoes. What a riot! The news said that even the secret service was slow to react because it was so stinking bizarre.
I've wanted to throw worse at the man, but what I could not believe was the slow reaction time on the part of the secret service. Isn't their first instinct supposed to be "protect the president" no matter what? Who knows what could have been in that shoe... I also thought Bush's reaction to a reporter later was clueless. Per usual.
He has pretty good reflexes!! what if he said "WTF!" and threw the damn shoe back!
It's a lot more nimble than I could have imagined.
I think I may have lost a little confidence in the Secret Service.
You've got to have quick reflexes if you are gonna go hunting with Cheney... he just might shoot you!
