Coke or Pepsi?

My 9 year old daughter has a really fun book, it's called "Coke or Pepsi?" It's full of fun questions to ask your friends to get to know them better.

I thought it would be fun to ask you, by bloggy friends some "Coke or Pepsi?" questions.

I know I could get really inappropriate with this and make up my own, but I'm going to keep it clean.

Here goes...

1. If you were in a band, what would you want to be?

Singer, guitarist, drummer, manager

2. Name one dorky trait you have.

3. Grits: Love em, Gross, What are they anyway!?

4. Meanest thing you did as a little kid?

Okay, now I'll answer.

1. Singer and guitarist. ( I would be like Sheryl Crow...or Joan Jett...so cool.)

2. That I would LOVE to be in a band and play to a huge stadium full of adoring fans. I also like to dance around like a complete idiot around my family. The only way I'd do it publicly is if I was really drunk.

3. Love them!! Yes, a northern girl who LOVES grits. My husband and I had them in North Carolina ages ago and we are hooked. They are heart healthy so it's a good thing!!

4.  I had an answer but my mother called and made me take it down.  THAT'S how bad it was!

Now you answer...it'll be fun...like a sleepover party!!

First, it's Coke all the way.

Let's see....I would totally be a backup singer. Not as much pressure as the lead and you get to do all the fun harmonies and stuff.

I am a huge dork, period. Half the things I do are dorky.

I told my mother something as a kid that she probably doesn't even remember but I will never forgive myself for.

I can't remember the last thing?

Oh, I skipped the grits! I love 'em. Especially with butter, cheese and Tabasco. With toast. MMMMMmmmmmm

After Dr.Pepper, it's definitely Coke.

I would love to be the singer or drummer--neither of which I am very good at, but a girl can dream right?
Dork thing? There are probably way too many to list so I won't!
Meanest thing? I hope you don't think less of me, but, here goes. Once I locked someone in a locker in 8th grade.
Oh and I almost forgot, the grits? LOVE them! I love to make them with some milk and cheese and make them nice and creamy! Yum!!

Coke is best.

I'd be the lead singer.

Dorky - every other thing I do.

Grits - don't like them

Meanest thing - told some kid that "Betsy" like him and he went over to ask her out and she said, "Get the hell out of here you freak."

Gave up carbonated drinks.
I am a dork cuz I tried as a kid to read all the books in the library in alphabetical order.
Love grits with a bit of butter.
Lead singer even tho I cant sing a note.
Meanest thing as a kid were mean words I said to my mom the night before she died. That sounds meaner than it was actually. But never forgave myself.

I like this!
1. Totally the lead singer. I would love to be a famous singer.
2. Just one? Probably that I tear up over practically anything.
3. LOVE cheese grits, we had them last night for dinner.
4. I can't think of anything really mean I did when I was little. I was bratty, but not so much mean.

Front and center- lead singer or guitarist- I love Sheryl Crow- or One of the Dixie Chicks.

Dorky trait- does blogging count?

Grits- what are they? They look gross

Meanest thing- I ran the vacuum over my brother's hand...caused permanent scarring. It's all funny now. He was a pill then.

I agree with you, totally singer and guitarist! I have ALWAYS wanted to learn to play the guitar!

Dorky thing? There's oh so many....wow, I really don't know! There are certain TV shows that I could recite because I watch them constantly. Maybe that?

Grits...mmmmmm....with cheese......

Something mean? I was in 3rd grade and it was me another girl assigned to clean the boards and the erasers. Remember those long gray board cleaners- basically a GIANT eraser. Well, there were two boards and she cleaned the first and I wanted to clean the second. She wouldn't give me the cleaner and I looked at her and said, "You're just a mean person, that's why you don't have any friends!" I'm pretty sure she handed me the cleaner as she ran away crying. I felt bad but not that bad...she was a mean person and actually isn't all that nice today either!!

Fun!

1. I'm not much of a cola drinker, but when I do, it's gotta be Coke.

2. I would want to be the drummer, rocking out and flippin my hair around.

3. I am a dork in many ways, one being that I'm one of those people who really wants to see the opening and closing credits of a movie.

4. Grits - love them! Served hot with butter, salt, and pepper!

5. I'm sure I did something mean but I can't come up with anything right now. I was pretty shy and quiet so I think I was too chicken to be mean

1. I would totally want to be the LEAD singer in a band, because I can't sing or play any instrument in real life so if I'm going to dream...I want to dream big and be the center of attention.

2. Oh gosh, which is the dorkiest of my dork-isms. I guess it would have to be carrying a Kleenex with me a lot. All wadded up in my palm. Like a dork....waiting to sneeze. Or like an old lady. either one.

3. Love the grits. Always with butter, salt and pepper. And preferrably with cheese, please.

4. I called my mom a b*tch and flicked my foot at her, causing my shoe to fly off and hit her in the face. Oh, the misery..for weeks on end. All over not letting me get some Hello Kitty stickers.

PS - Coke / Diet Coke.

1. If you were in a band, what would you want to be?

Manager, I heart organization.

2. Name one dorky trait you have.

I keep my checking account register in an excel spreadsheet. And I LOVE IT!

3. Grits: Love em, Gross, What are they anyway!?

GROSS! Growing up on the West Coast will do that to you...

4. Meanest thing you did as a little kid?

In the 4th grade, I got mad at my best friend of all time (still is), and to show her how much I was mad at her, I found a dirty Q-Tip on the floor, taped it into a circle on a piece of paper and wrote "this is my ring of hate for you."

Intense. =)

Diet coke for sure, used to do the real coke till college and had to conserve calories in order to be able to drink all that beer.

Singer - Jimmy Buffett female version in a Lilly Pulitzer dress

I'm dorky in general.

I was actually pretty nice to everyone, I'm dorky as I said

Frits are OK.

my topspin- but first let me tell you how sore and out of sorts I am- it's time for some aleve. I AM OLD.

I do the loop windup (start high and then drop the racquet) and then the best thing I could describe it as is slapping the shit out of it as fast as I can in an upward direction. My topspin was so rockin it that people were mishitting it, and going everywhere. PLEASE GOD LET ME HIT LIKE THAT TODAY.

So fun! Here goes...

Diet coke (took 7 coke/pepsi challenges back in the day and always picked coke).

Backup singer...cool clothes, smooth moves, cheesy choreography.

Dork...definitely have my moments.

No, on the grits. I'm a west coaster though I've tried them over the years just in case. No go no matter what you smother them in. I just don't like hominey (sp?)period.

I put gum in my sister's hair...so so bad!

The Mrs. said...

Coke it the word.
I would sing my heart out as lead singer.
Dorky? My love of 80's TV!
I hate grits...what the hell are they?
Sold all the neighbors veggies in their gardens at old apt building when I was six! I was soooo organic! LOL!

Pepsi unless we are talking Cherry then Coke.

Abba- lead singer. Cover band is fine if I can't be in the real deal.

Uhhh, I am currently reading a trilogy about dragons and wizards... I swear this is the FIRST time ever!

Meanest thing: Ummm, told one of my parents I wanted a better job than them someday. I wouldn't "settle" like they did. Ouch. I feel like such an uber bitch. I've never said anything like that since!!!
Grits- never had 'em.
