So I got the elf. His name is Fred.
So far nothing bad has happened.
He moves around A LOT, and this morning, I caught him sitting on top of my laptop with a really pissed off look in his shifty blue eyes.
I think he read my last post.
Can elves read? I cert
ainly hope not.
Or I'm in BIG trouble.

Elves are pretty mischievous! We've had one the last few years and he's caused all sorts of trouble. Better keep an eye on Fred.
Ours has been hanging by his arms for a couple of days know. I told the kids he must be comfortable and like it there! They commented that he sure doesn't *look* comfortable with his arms over his head like that. I have to agree :) Better go take my gingko biloba so I can remember

That thing gives me the creeps.
So funny....my favorite thing is how creepy the elf on the shelf looks! Fabulous!
We have one that looks just like one of those, except its not an elf on the shelf, it is a creepy, very old ornament that somehow got into our house, was hubby's when he was little. My kids are terrified of the damn thing, and stick it in strange places so it can't be seen...
