Question of the day...
How many milligrams of Zoloft are you on?
I take 100 mgs once a day. My doc raised my dosage after 10 years of 50 mgs.
Not taking Zoloft? Okay, so WHAT do you take? Is it Paxil, Wellbutrin, Prozac?
Nothing you say? Quit pulling my leg. We're all on SOMETHING!!!
Yeah, yeah, I know, you're high on life. Lucky you.

Lexapro here! LOL
A friend of mine joined the PFA last year, she started volunteering and doing all the stuff around the school that the other "crazy Mom" like me did. I warned her from our first meeting that she would soon be taking Lexapro or something....
Don't ask me how, but she swears she hasn't started anything YET, but she knows she's close, LOL
Effexor
Nothing....yet. lol. But it's coming, oh it's coming. lol.
Not on anything...hence the random crazy drunk nights with the girls every once in a while!
50 mg. of Zoloft & 150 mg. of Imipramine, which is old & not well-known but lifted me from the blackness of my post partum depression almost 13 years ago.
I did the Zoloft ride for almost 2 years. I gained power over my anxiety and now practice random acts of diluted craziness and moments of questionable energy expressed through cleaned toilets and marathon runs. It is NOT suggested for everyone. I miss the days of drug induced normalcy.
Prozac....
Nothing, now. I tried Zoloft twice, but neither time did it work. I believe neither time it was needed, but that was just me, I guess. :)
I may try something in the future though. I want a happy pill!
Not taking anything but I do have my magic flying pills (for air travel, I don't really think that I can FLY). I will tell you though, I took Paxil for awhile about 10 years ago and gained a lot of weight. That surely was not fun!
Used to take Wellbutrin. Nothing now!
FYI- Don't know if this has come up yet but Palin's lipstick is "O" by MAC cosmetics!
I am seriously on nothing. Never have.
Right now as I am knocked up, I am on nothing. However, I am pretty damn sure that if I start to feel the way I did a year ago after this kid comes out, I will be requesting something quickly.
I'd love to go without but I'm just not sure that is doable.
I have never taken anything. I think with a busy schedule and working out...it helps me keep away the blues.
Paxil. Say hello to my little friend!
Paxil, baby!
Nothing on a daily basis- my dr has me taking prozac 10 days before my period to help my PMS because I get so bitchy it ain't even funny- but I don't take it because I like to instill fear to those in my house and when they see me like that they don't mess with me and stay away :)
Try the Blog "Deadly Notes"
Warning have the Zoloft bottle close by.
Oh I am close to the edge by that I mean giving up Blogging for the rest of my life. A BLOG FAILURE
that's why I need to triple my meds
so that I can ease the pain.
Nothing here.
I don't take a pill...but even though alcohol is a depressant, a nightly gin + tonic makes me pretty happy.
This post made me laugh!
I was on Zoloft for a year after the birth of my youngest child. I suffered from PPD. I'm doing OK now but sometimes I miss the Z!
My doctor said as much as 60% of the women on the north shore of Chicago are on some type of pill. This made me feel oddly comforted. LOL.
I was on Zoloft for about three years. I was at 50mg for the first 6 or 9 months, and then moved up to 100mg. I felt a huge difference with Zoloft...and never any side effects. DAMN, I need to get back on that drug!! :))
LOL, I'm not on Zoloft but I am on a HIGH dose of another depression/anxiety med. Life is so much better with my crazy pills!
Well...I went down that whole road a while back, and am currently only trying to figure out a way to mainline caffeine.
But, it's a definite thought. My two concerns...weight gain and lack of, ahem, interest in certain areas. :-)
Any ideas from anyone?
I am of a generation that didn't have "pills" for the craziness of life. My advise to everyone is to suck it up. We did and your kids grow up eventually. Life is great when you have an empty nest.
