My 9 year old daughter has a really fun book, it's called "Coke or Pepsi?" It's full of fun questions to ask your friends to get to know them better.
I thought it would be fun to ask you, by bloggy friends some "Coke or Pepsi?" questions.
I know I could get really inappropriate with this and make up my own, but I'm going to keep it clean.
Here goes...
1. If you were in a band, what would you want to be?
Singer, guitarist, drummer, manager
2. Name one dorky trait you have.
3. Grits: Love em, Gross, What are they anyway!?
4. Meanest thing you did as a little kid?
Okay, now I'll answer.
1. Singer and guitarist. ( I would be like Sheryl Crow...or Joan Jett...so cool.)
2. That I would LOVE to be in a band and play to a huge stadium full of adoring fans. I also like to dance around like a complete idiot around my family. The only way I'd do it publicly is if I was really drunk.
3. Love them!! Yes, a northern girl who LOVES grits. My husband and I had them in North Carolina ages ago and we are hooked. They are heart healthy so it's a good thing!!
4. I had an answer but my mother called and made me take it down. THAT'S how bad it was!

First, it's Coke all the way.
Let's see....I would totally be a backup singer. Not as much pressure as the lead and you get to do all the fun harmonies and stuff.
I am a huge dork, period. Half the things I do are dorky.
I told my mother something as a kid that she probably doesn't even remember but I will never forgive myself for.

Oh and I almost forgot, the grits? LOVE them! I love to make them with some milk and cheese and make them nice and creamy! Yum!!

Meanest thing as a kid were mean words I said to my mom the night before she died. That sounds meaner than it was actually. But never forgave myself.

Meanest thing- I ran the vacuum over my brother's hand...caused permanent scarring. It's all funny now. He was a pill then.

Dorky thing? There's oh so many....wow, I really don't know! There are certain TV shows that I could recite because I watch them constantly. Maybe that?

Something mean? I was in 3rd grade and it was me another girl assigned to clean the boards and the erasers. Remember those long gray board cleaners- basically a GIANT eraser. Well, there were two boards and she cleaned the first and I wanted to clean the second. She wouldn't give me the cleaner and I looked at her and said, "You're just a mean person, that's why you don't have any friends!" I'm pretty sure she handed me the cleaner as she ran away crying. I felt bad but not that bad...she was a mean person and actually isn't all that nice today either!!
Fun!
1. I'm not much of a cola drinker, but when I do, it's gotta be Coke.
2. I would want to be the drummer, rocking out and flippin my hair around.
3. I am a dork in many ways, one being that I'm one of those people who really wants to see the opening and closing credits of a movie.

1. I would totally want to be the LEAD singer in a band, because I can't sing or play any instrument in real life so if I'm going to dream...I want to dream big and be the center of attention.

In the 4th grade, I got mad at my best friend of all time (still is), and to show her how much I was mad at her, I found a dirty Q-Tip on the floor, taped it into a circle on a piece of paper and wrote "this is my ring of hate for you."
Intense. =)
Diet coke for sure, used to do the real coke till college and had to conserve calories in order to be able to drink all that beer.

my topspin- but first let me tell you how sore and out of sorts I am- it's time for some aleve. I AM OLD.
I do the loop windup (start high and then drop the racquet) and then the best thing I could describe it as is slapping the shit out of it as fast as I can in an upward direction. My topspin was so rockin it that people were mishitting it, and going everywhere. PLEASE GOD LET ME HIT LIKE THAT TODAY.
